Heavy Vehicle Driver Training
When it comes to your HT licence, we’re all class.
Whether you’re thinking about driving for a living, or you’re ready to take your HT Licence to the next level, talk to DriveIQ. We have courses available for HT Licences in Class 2, 3, 4, and 5. Each course is made up of three components which are compulsory.
Class 2
Before sitting this course, it is a prerequisite that you hold a Class 2 Learners Licence, find out more.
Unit standard 24089
Demonstrating knowledge of the driving hours law, fatigue management, and driver logbook completion (if you can provide proof of completion of this unit standard within the last 12 months, you’re not required to complete again).
Unit Standard 17574
Demonstrating knowledge of driver licensing requirements for Class 2 full Licence.
Practical Assessment
Inspecting a heavy rigid motor vehicle, driving and reversing a heavy rigid motor vehicle, parking and securing a heavy rigid vehicle, maintaining a logbook and more.
Course pricing and requirements
$1,400 incl. GST per person with truck hire additional. If you cannot provide a truck of the appropriate class, we can organise that for you. Price includes the logbook unit standard which if you’ve completed in the previous 12 months will be reimbursed.
